CeraVe's Acne Academy campaign, was a comprehensive educational initiative to tackle one of the most common skin conditions worldwide — acne. Launching with the back-to-school season, this campaign featured insights from leading dermatologists, including Dr. Muneeb Shah, Dr. Mamina Turegano, and Dr. Evan A. Rieder, alongside TikTok stars Charli D'Amelio and Zach King. The campaign aims to dispel myths, address the emotional impacts of acne, and provide effective treatment and prevention strategies. Through this campaign, we delivered A+ acne education to consumers globally, leveraging the reach and influence of top skincare experts and social media influencers.
Cleanse Like a Derm
CeraVe's first-ever global livestream event, the initiative in collaboration with board-certified dermatologists and prominent social media influencers, Dr. Dustin Portela and Dr. Michelle Henry. This groundbreaking event, hosted by skincare enthusiast and content creator Avani Gregg, who boasts over 41 million followers on TikTok, took place in front of a live studio audience in New York City. The livestream aimed to help consumers correct cleansing mistakes and establish healthier skincare habits, marking a significant milestone for CeraVe in engaging with a global audience.
Face It Like a Derm
CeraVe's #21DaysofSPF Challenge, was an impactful campaign in the vibrant streets of New Orleans. Partnering with renowned social media dermatologists and top content creators, including Avani Gregg, we aimed to promote daily sunscreen use. Backed by insights from the American Academy of Dermatology on UV ray exposure and skin cancer prevention, the campaign encouraged forming the sunscreen habit over 21 days. This initiative leveraged influential voices to educate consumers on the importance of daily sunscreen application for healthier skin.
